Dr. Erwin Lutzer
Author, Senior Pastor of Moody Church, Chicago, IL
Dr. Lutzer was born and reared near Regina, Saskatchewan. His educational background includes a B.Th. from Winnipeg Bible College, a Th.M. from Dallas Theological Seminary, an MA in philosophy from Loyola University, an honorary LL.D. from Simon Greenleaf School of Law, and an honorary DD from Western Conservative Baptist Seminary. He has authored numerous books among which are: Christ Among Other gods, Your Eternal Reward, Growing Through Conflict, When Reconciliation Fails, Hitler's Cross (awarded the Christian Bookseller's Gold Medallion Award), and Who Are You To Judge? He is the featured speaker on the popular evening program Songs in the Night as well as the fifteen-minute daily broadcast, Running to Win, available on the Moody Broadcasting Network, Bible Broadcasting Network, Calvary Satellite Network and hundreds of Christian radio stations across the US. He and his wife Rebecca (who is coming with him) are the parents of three married children and six grandchildren.

Dr. Duane Elmer
Author, Faculty member of Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, Deerfield, IL
Dr. Elmer was raised in Wisconsin, did his BA and MA work in educational psychology at Michigan State University (MSU), completed his MA in New Testament Studies at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, taught in South Africa for five years, taught at a cross-cultural training program in Michigan for twelve years and completed his Ph.D. at MSU in Education and Cross-Cultural Communications. He also taught at Wheaton College in education for twelve years before joining the faculty at Trinity International University teaching both in the educational studies Ph.D. program and the Intercultural Studies Ph.D. program. This is his ninth year of teaching there and he presently directs the educational studies program. He teaches courses on the design of learning experiences that promote critical thinking, education and culture, cross-cultural conflict, and research design. He is the author of three books: Cross-Cultural Conflict, Cross-Cultural Connections, and Cross-Cultural Servanthood and has co-edited With an Eye on the Future: Development and Mission in the 21st Century. He has created a model to help educators think about the learning process called the Learning Cycle and together hopes to co-author a book for educators using this model. He has been a trainer and consultant to numerous multinational organizations and has taught in about seventy-five countries. Currently Duane is also doing a significant amount of educational consultation with about 35 seminaries in Central and Eastern Europe and the Middle East who feel the need to revise their highly westernized curricula, to contextualize their education to the needs of the church and to revise their educational methods to facilitate better learning. Duane is married to Muriel and they have two married sons and two grandchildren.
